Fertilizer Industry in Malaysia

  • Palm Oil consumes around 4.3 million MT; Rubber 150 KT; Rice Paddy 420 KT
  • Private plantations around 3.2 million MT; government agencies around 1.250 million Mt; small holders and farmers around770 KT and government subsidies around 300 KT.
  • Malaysia is one of the largest importers of MOP at around 2 million MT per annum.
